Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Saathi, a software product by Pinaki Agency (“we”, “us”). By using Saathi, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. The service

Saathi is business-management software (billing, inventory, reports and related tools), offered with an optional cloud sync and optional paid add-ons. It is provided to help you run your business; it is a tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 and operating a legitimate business. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your PINs and devices secure.

3. Plans, pricing & payments

  • TiersSaathi is sold in three tiers per outlet: Starter, Pro and Premium. Each tier unlocks the feature set shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
  • Subscriptions (Monthly / Yearly / 2-Year) — recurring plans that include the software, cloud features for your tier, updates and support for the paid term. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancel anytime and access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • “Own it” licence — a one-time payment, per outlet. You own the purchased software: core billing and your tier’s local features work offline indefinitely, even if you never pay again. It includes 1 year of cloud features, updates and support.
  • AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) — an optional yearly renewal for “Own it” customers after the first year, covering cloud features, updates and support. If the AMC lapses, the app and your tier’s local features keep working offline; only cloud sync, updates and support pause until you renew.
  • Free trial — 14 days of full Pro features, no card required. After the trial (or after a subscription ends), there is a 7-day grace period during which the app keeps working with reminders; after that, a trial/subscription that hasn’t been paid for is locked until you subscribe. Your data always stays on your device and can be exported at any time, including from the lock screen.
  • “Own it” customers are never locked out of core billing — a one-time licence keeps working offline indefinitely (see above); only cloud features pause if AMC lapses.
  • Add-ons (e.g. Saathi AI, included with Premium) may carry separate charges on other tiers, shown before you buy.
  • Prices are in INR, per outlet, and may exclude taxes. We may change prices for new purchases and renewals with notice; this won’t change a term you’ve already paid for or an “Own it” licence you’ve already bought.

4. Refunds

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, so you can evaluate Saathi fully before paying. In addition, your first purchase (any tier, any term) includes a 7-day no-questions money-back guarantee from the date of payment. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and run to the end of the paid period. AMC payments and renewals are non-refundable once the period starts. Hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

5. Your data & backups

Your business data is yours. By default it is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups — we strongly recommend enabling Cloud sync or exporting your data regularly. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, browser/data clearing, or not keeping a backup.

6. Hardware

Thermal printers, cash drawers and other hardware (if purchased) are supplied as goods and covered by the relevant manufacturer/supplier warranty. Compatibility depends on your device and printer model.

7. Your responsibilities & compliance

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for your GST/tax filings and invoices, for the lawful handling of your customers’ data, and for complying with all laws applicable to your business. Saathihelps you generate documents but does not guarantee their legal/tax correctness.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service — no unlawful use, reverse-engineering, reselling without permission, or attempts to disrupt or access others’ data.

9. Availability & “as is”

We work to keep Saathi reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Cloud features depend on third-party providers and internet connectivity and may have downtime. The app runs locally on your device — outages or our servers being unreachable never stop you from billing during a valid plan. For an “Own it” licence, core billing works offline indefinitely and is never disabled, including if Saathi ever ceased operations (we would also provide a final data-export tool). For a trial or subscription, access requires an active plan as described in section 3; either way, your data is always yours to export.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Saathi in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Intellectual property

Saathi and its software, brand and content are owned by Pinaki Agency. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it per these Terms and your plan.

12. Termination

You may stop using Saathi anytime. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms. On termination, you can export your data within a reasonable period where technically possible.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at our place of business having jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
